COAST GANG INVESTIGATOR'S ASSOCIATION
The mission of the E.C.G.I.A. is to respond to the proliferation
of gangs in our society, and to assist in their exposure and efficient
eradication. E.C.G.I.A. aims to increase the awareness of gangs
in our society, and to assist law enforcement and related agencies
in a cooperative effort to combat the gang activity.
NATIONAL
ALLIANCE OF GANG INVESTIGATORS ASSOCIATIONS
The consolidation and distribution of information, the standardization
of training, and the creation of a close partnership among federal,
state, and local law enforcement are among the elements critical
to the accomplishment of this objective. The National Alliance of
Gang Investigators Associations was created to assist agencies with
successfully combining these elements at all levels.

a positive relationship among law enforcement, families, and our
young people to create safer communities.

OF JUVENILE JUSTICE AND DELIQUENCY PREVENTION

Also contains the OJJDP (or "Spergel") Model's five strategies for
dealing with gang-involved youth and their communities.

and Security Threat Group Awareness
Maintain safe and secure operations for staff, visitors, and inmates/offenders
by identifying, certifying and monitoring Security Threat Group
(STG) activity, coordinating all intelligence with fellow criminal
justice agencies, and providing community awareness programs and
education.

The goal of Gangs OR Us is to provide law enforcement and corrections
personnel, parents, teachers, and concerned citizens, the assistance
and knowledge necessary to determine if street or prison gangs are
in your community or corrections facility.
